Photo & Papers Edward Hale MacConnell and wife Mary Lucretia Gove Hale

Edward Hale MacConnell (1861-1955) son of Robert MacConnell and Lillian "Lydia" Brown and his wife Mary Lucretia Gove Hale (1866-1944) daughter of Isaac Hale and Mary Gove. The couple married Feb 2 1891. Lived in Salisbury, Massachusetts on Mudnock Road. Photo from MacIsaac family 

Edward was featured in the Newburyport News 1945. He shared his adventures when he sailed with Captain Colby on the bark H.G. Johnson-- he was ship’s boy and ordinary seaman.
